The hut and camping area is found near the top of Pine Valley, nestled in a mossy rainforest. Not formally part of the Overland Track but a magical place to visit if you have time. The hut sleeps 20 people on bunks there are 4 tent platforms near the hut.

From the hut there are two good side trips up to The Labyrinth and The Acropolis. Sidetracks are signposted at the start, but both required clear weather and a high level of bushwalking and navigation skills.
