Getting started
From the car park on the Central Coast Hwy, aka Wilfred Barret Dr (about 7km north of The Entrance bridge, and about 3km south of the intersection with Main Rd, Noraville. Signposted 'Wyrrabalong National Park'), the walk passes through the timber fence, passing an information board, to the left, and a picnic table, to the right, and follows the sandy management trail. After a very short distance, the trail arrives at the intersection of the 'Red Gum Trail' and the 'Burrawang Walking Track'.....

	Start. After 75 m to find the car park. Then head through/around the gate.
	Continue straight. After another 20 m pass the sign (on your left).
	After another 10 m veer left.
	After another 910 m turn right.
	After another 195 m veer right. After another 650 m pass a seat (10 m on your left). Then find the "Tuggerah Lake lookout" (6 m on your left). Tuggerah Lake lookout This unnamed lookout provides views across Tuggerah Lake, north of The Entrance. The lookout is on the Redgum Trail and consists of a fenced wooden platform with a seat. the beautiful views and atmosphere make this a great spot for a break during a walk in the area.
	After another 670 m turn right. After another 90 m find the "Redgum lookout" (5 m on your left). Redgum lookout This unnamed lookout is in the Wyrrabalong National park, north of The Entrance and provides views to the north across part of Tuggerah Lake and Toukley. The lookout is on the Redgum Trail and consists of a fenced wooden platform with a seat. This is a nice, atmospheric spot to take a break on the walk. After another 6 m pass a seat (7 m on your left).
	After another 530 m turn right.
	After another 470 m veer left.
	After another 30 m continue straight.
	After another 25 m come to the end.

  Closed areas: Area closed for carpark upgrade
  Some parts of this park are closed from Monday 15 July to Monday 30 September 2024 while Redgum carpark, adjacent to Burrawang Picnic Area, is being upgraded. The closed areas are:

  The entry to Redgum trail and Burrawang/Lilly Pilly Walking Track from Redgum carpark.

  Other planned events: Construction Works Adjacent to Wyrrabalong National Park
  Construction of the Magenta Shared Walkway on behalf of Central Coast Council is being undertaken adjacent to Wilfred Barret Drive, Magenta. These works are not within Wyrrabalong National Park and no clearing of Park Estate is planned to occur as part of these works. National Parks and Wildlife would encourage park visitors to follow any safety signage installed as part of these works.
