Getting started
From the end of Cromarty Hill Rd, this walk goes around the gate, passing the 'Wyrrabalong National Park' sign and following the management trail up the hill. The trail passes between the communications tower and satellite dish. There are great views back over Forresters Beach from the concrete platform on top of the building, next to the tower. The walk then heads across the open grassy area, passing a trig point (to the right) and arriving at the Wyrrabalong Lookout, with beautiful views along the coast and out to sea.....

	Start. After 15 m head through/around the gate. After another 205 m find the "Wyrrabalong Lookout and Cromarty Hill" (on your right). Wyrrabalong Lookout and Cromarty Hill This lookout and picnic area is on Cromarty Hill, near the end of Cromarty Hill Rd, Forresters Beach. There are picnic tables and fantastic views from the lookout point, as well as the concrete roof platform beside the large communications tower. There is a hang gliding launch spot beside the lookout.
	Continue another 55 m to find the end. Then turn around here and retrace the main route for 275 m to get back to the start.

This lookout and picnic area is on Cromarty Hill, near the end of Cromarty Hill Rd, Forresters Beach. There are picnic tables and fantastic views from the lookout point, as well as the concrete roof platform beside the large communications tower. There is a hang gliding launch spot beside the lookout.

Continue another 55 m to find the end. Then turn around here and retrace the main route for 275 m to get back to the start.

  Some parts of this park are closed from Monday 15 July to Monday 30 September 2024 while Redgum carpark, adjacent to Burrawang Picnic Area, is being upgraded. The closed areas are:

  The entry to Redgum trail and Burrawang/Lilly Pilly Walking Track from Redgum carpark.

  Construction of the Magenta Shared Walkway on behalf of Central Coast Council is being undertaken adjacent to Wilfred Barret Drive, Magenta. These works are not within Wyrrabalong National Park and no clearing of Park Estate is planned to occur as part of these works. National Parks and Wildlife would encourage park visitors to follow any safety signage installed as part of these works.
