Wangi Falls Circuit

Wangi Falls Circuit is a circuit walk starting from the Wangi Falls Campground car park in Litchfield National Park. Along the way, you will find the Wangi Falls Cafe, offering a great spot to take a break and enjoy hot & cold food. You will also have the opportunity to admire the beautiful Wangi Falls, a popular swimming spot in the Northern Territory. It is important to check for closures during certain times of the year based on water levels as well as the season. There is a toilet available along the way. To make the most of the walk and avoid going up the steps, it is suggested to follow the track in an anti-clockwise direction. Plenty of parking space is available, including caravans. Remember to take in the views of the Wangi Falls from the Treetop deck. There are some Gas BBQs and a toilet available as well. A park pass is required for visitors to the NT to access this park. Please note that swimming is prohibited above the falls. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Getting started
From Wangi Falls Campground car park, pass through the bollard and head towards the paved path between the kiosk (to the right) and toilets (to the left). Continue straight at the intersection that takes you to these facilities. About 240 metres into the walk, veer/keep left at the intersection then take a left turn and head along the relatively rough track to continue along Wangi Falls Circuit (clockwise).....

	Start. After 55 m pass the "Wangi Falls Kiosk" (50 m on your right).
	Veer left. After another 20 m pass the toilet (15 m on your left). After another 105 m pass the shelter (15 m on your left).
	After another 75 m (from the Wangi Falls Walk) turn left, to head along Wangi Falls Walk.
	After another 740 m (at the intersection of Wangi Falls Walk & Wangi Link Track) continue straight, to head along Wangi Falls Walk. After another 6 m cross the bridge (about 4 m long) After another 35 m cross the bridge (about 15 m long) After another 225 m come to the viewpoint (10 m on your right). After another 150 m head down the steps (about 55 m long)
	After another 260 m (from the Wangi Falls Walk) veer left.
	The starting point of an optional sidetrip. This little side trip takes you to a viewpoint where you can get a great view of the falls from below. To start this optional side trip turn right here. On returning from this side trip turn right when you get back to this intersection. Details below. After another 25 m continue straight. Then cross the bridge (about 40 m long) Continue straight.
	After another 15 m (from the Wangi Falls Walk) turn left (a walking track).
	After another 200 m veer right. After another 35 m come to the end.

This little side trip takes you to a viewpoint where you can get a great view of the falls from below.
